The chef and his team offer a menu inspired by seasonal produce, fruits, vegetables and herbs from the garden.
Anxious to select the best regional producers, he concocts dishes generous flavors of yesteryear. Recipes grandmother simmered casseroles, cooking with traditional bread oven … all forgotten knowhow that are showcased here and sublimated by the treasures grown in the garden: saffron, multiple varieties of mint, lemon verbena and even the wine produced on the property.
Emblem of the gastronomy of Retz and the Jade Coast, the Auberge la Fontaine aux Bretons wants guarantees a quality traditional cuisine, where fresh seasonal produce is king. We prefer short circuits and value organic products. This approach is illustrated in particular by obtaining the title of Master Restaurateur.
The label “homemade” is valid for all of our dishes are cooked on site from raw products, with the only exception the homemade ice cream.
